Introduction
The leading UK healthcare technology provider delivering diagnostic and telemedicine services to both NHS and private healthcare organisations.
Medica required an experienced interim infrastructure leader to review and strengthen the resilience of its technology estate following periods of infrastructure instability. The assignment was business-critical, requiring an individual capable of rapidly assessing the environment, restoring confidence and implementing sustainable improvements across the organisation’s core infrastructure.

The context
As part of its continued growth and technology evolution, the organisation identified an opportunity to strengthen its infrastructure capability and ensure its technology platform remained resilient, scalable and aligned to future business requirements.
The brief called for an experienced infrastructure leader who could quickly assess the existing environment, engage technical and executive stakeholders, and develop a pragmatic programme of improvements across infrastructure, cloud services, governance and operational processes.

The solution
Rinnova undertook a targeted interim search focused on senior infrastructure leaders with proven experience operating in complex, regulated and service-critical environments.
The search prioritised candidates who combined deep technical credibility with hands-on delivery capability, ensuring the successful individual could move quickly from assessment into action. Particular emphasis was placed on experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud architecture, operational resilience, stakeholder management and practical transformation delivery.
Through our established network, Rinnova identified and engaged a focused group of relevant interim leaders, assessing each candidate against the technical requirements of the assignment and the leadership style needed to operate effectively in a fast-moving healthcare technology environment.
The appointed candidate brought extensive experience across secure enterprise infrastructure, cloud and hybrid environments, technical governance and stabilisation programmes.
