British Home is a specialist neurological care charity providing residential and respite care for people living with neuro-disability. Based in South London, it supports individuals with complex care needs, including acquired brain injuries, stroke, and degenerative neurological conditions. The organisation is undergoing a transformation to improve operational performance, regulatory outcomes, and long-term sustainability.

The context
British Home required an experienced General Manager to lead one of its key services, responsible for day-to-day care delivery, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. The role was created following a strategic reorganisation to strengthen leadership capacity and embed consistent, high-quality operations across the service. The charity was seeking a clinical leader with a strong track record in neurological or complex care settings, who could stabilise the team, drive performance improvements, and act as a credible leader both internally and externally.
